Just needs some RGB and it will make up for its shortcomings.

I prefer the "small" footprint of AIO coolers

Air may be better but liquid looks so much better

Not everyone has glass side panels and RGB . My PC is a black obelisk with only the power light visible.

0:00 is that a jojo reference?

Nah, I'll take an AIO over air anyday. A good air cooler is similar in price to an AIO.

Corsair products in a nutshell: looks good, works bad, costs more

Please do a review of Be quiets similar cooler!
Adam D
Adam D - Päev tagasi
@daskes123 I'm worried about RAM clearance though. I have tall Corsair Dominator sticks.
daskes123 - Päev tagasi
@Adam D Ended up buying the Noctua nh-u12 s - all black, tested and reliable performance - really happy with it. Trying to really keep my build quiet, i kinda regret going with Be quiet fans instead of Noctua. Plus, they sell /give kits of brackets for the cooler, so if you wanna mount it to a new motherboard that came out its np.

Yea, I'd love to see a Dark Rock Pro 4 review.
Semitex - 9 päeva tagasi
Tbh, I don't give a shit about the noise (actually I like the white noise of fans), I would buy a loud cooler that performs really good.
Charles Ingvar
Charles Ingvar - 10 päeva tagasi
No one really holds a candle to Noctua
Animalyze71 - 11 päeva tagasi
Corsair;s idea is good but the fans are completely incorrect for pressure optimization and thus efficient cooling. Those are regular case fans as is obvious from the blade style, Noctua is guilty of this too. You want curved longer blades for pushing air through fins things like Arctic P14's or P12's are some of the better radiator, tower fin fan designs. There's a few brands that are good but if you replace those corsair fans with some Arctic series P fans you'll see a huge improvement in temps and lower noise.

My $25 (got it on sale, it’s usually about $35) cooler master hyper 212 evo seems like a better purchase every time I watch one of LTTs cooler videos. For reference, I’ve never heard it get loud at all and I’ve never seen my 7700K get hotter than 72 degrees. I mainly play destiny 2 on 1080p 144hz highest settings and it usually stays between 45 and 55 degrees centigrade.

Have you looked at and or tested any of the be quite air coolers? They are similar in size to this one. If not would you?
Tomato the Tsuki
Tomato the Tsuki - 19 päeva tagasi
In Australia I can pick up this fan for about 135AUD compared to the noctua now which is 189AUD.. That price difference is enough for me to justify a cost in performance
Charles Oxley
Charles Oxley - 23 päeva tagasi
Soo, it's a very loud cooler...I get that. However, there is not a huge difference in thermals between it and the other two it was compared to here. If you do not care about the noise it produces, wouldn't it be worth looking into?
902100101 - 24 päeva tagasi
But my question is, and I am quite a bit late, wouldn't the size of the air cooler cause issues for the motherboard since it is so large (are they prone to falling easily?
Viktor Ancsa
Viktor Ancsa - 26 päeva tagasi
You can change the fans to quieter ones!

I’m looking to replace my stock cooler because it gets in the way of my #1 RAM slot. Do any of these coolers keep clear of that area?
Dainius Vyšniauskas
Dainius Vyšniauskas - 24 päeva tagasi
If you want an air cooler that clears any RAM slots, look for Scythe Fuma 2 or Cryorig R1 Universal.

@BlokSztor Um, no, not really. They are average at best.
BlokSztor - 23 päeva tagasi
@Dainius Vyšniauskas ye but aio from corsair is actually pretty good. Maybe not the cheapest but 240 aio from corsair is mostly better than 360 from others lol
Dainius Vyšniauskas
Dainius Vyšniauskas - 24 päeva tagasi

OMG this air cooler is just amazing. I love how it looks in Corsair cases. Great job Corsair, great job!!!
PackLord21 - Місяць tagasi
Basically if you are in an arid enviornment go for it! You need more humidity anyways, and if the air is already dry a swamp cooler will cool much better, if you aren't in an arid place forget it, it will hardly do anything besides make the humid air more humid... Yuck! In short it depends entirely upon WHERE you live. Reguardless where you live though, get a box fan or two, and at night put them in the windows until roughly 7am. The outdoor temperature is lowest around 6am, but the indoor temperature doesn't INSTANTLY drop to that temperature, (it will take roughly an extra hour to reach equalibrium with the outdoor temperature), after 7am SHUT THE WINDOWS!!! The outdoor temperature will rise much faster than the indoor temperature! Insulation is designed to prevent heat transfer!!! Even on our top floor apartment with ok insulation the non air conditioned portion of our house gets no hotter than 75 degrees on a 95+ degree day!!! That's a 20 degree differiance without ac!!!

@HEADLESSZOMB13 Fuma 2. Same/better performance depending on review, far less noisy, no issues with RAM clearance, better looks (subjective), $60
